The Sunbed Safety campaign was launched after Katie Turner, who lives in Darlington, ended up in a hospital's accident and emergency department with severe sunburn, sickness and headaches after spending a total of 21 minutes on a sunbed in two sessions on the same day. It is our intention to use the case to push the Government into action - so that allowing children to use sunbeds in commercial salons becomes a matter for the courts.
